Last modified: 27 Mar 2024, 0:04:09 UTC I get a lot of "Error while computing" for a Samsung Android phone that is running BOINC version 7.22.2: https://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/show_host_detail.php?hostid=769031 https://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/results.php?hostid=769031 The tasks seem to end with error very quickly. Could there be tasks for the wrong CPU being sent out from Asteroids@home? This Android device has an ARMv7 CPU. |

Last modified: 27 Mar 2024, 4:20:07 UTC Short answer: It's an older version of the Android app, which for some reason will return the error "Error: Number of lc points is greater than POINTS_MAX = 1000" for certain batches of tasks. (The Mac app did this too; from what I understand it was updated recently.) I've seen talk that a new version of the Android app is being worked on, but I forget where I've seen the post. EDIT: Found a different post mentioning the issue, and a mention of the Android app being updated.
