my two android app tasks 3601216 and 3603669 which were executed with boinc 7.2.7 for android on a smartphone with android 4.2.2 display both zero seconds as CPU runtime. Is this expected as the arm chip isn't thought to be a CPU?

There is a problem with the BOINC version, I still haven't tried it but I suppose that there is a problem in some libraries. Asteroids applications use a slightly adjusted BOINC libraries so that it could compute on Android in NativeBOINC. But version 7.2.7 is another client and I suppose its libraries are different so this may by a problem. I will have to figure out what changer are there and what is cause to it. But if there is same identification of the device it could be problem to specified what version should server send to a client.

Do you want me to raise a bug in the official boinc board since 7.2.7 is the official Android client or do you want to make some tests by yourself before?

I will do some tests first, their BOINC manager is just a bit different from NativeBOINC due to some changes in libraries so this may be the problem but both application can by good.

I am just testing it and it does the same. I am not even sure that it compute anything unfortunately I have a tablet which is not mine so I can't root it to test it properly. There is Android 4.1.1. I will try it later on my phone with Android 2.3.3 and will see the result.
