Just attached 3 machines but not getting any jobs

Friend, you don't let us know very much :)

So, lets begin with the basics:
Asteroids@home is a pure Linuxproject actually. Do your machines run Linux operating Systems?
Do you get any error message or does just nothing happen?

Although I didn't give you much info, you did give me the answer.
I am runnig windows only on my machines
and will have to waint until the project starts sending windows wu.

You could also epxeriment a little with some nice Linux Distros ;)
I use (besides some Windows) actually Lubuntu, Ubuntu 12 and CentOs. Especially Lubuntu proved very versatible for Boinc Purposes

My computers are toshiba laptops and it doesn't seem a good idea to replace the manufacturer OS. My work computer would be a good candidate for installing linux, but I cannot change the software.
I tried to install linux on an old laptot sometime ago but it crashed every time I tried to start the system right after installation...
Guess I could try to install linux inside a virtual box, but suspect it might make the computer much slower...
For the time being I guess i will wait
