A few days ago there were over 800, and now there's 600 and some. I've been doing this project for awhile now, and it doesn't really seem like we're making progress.

I think it's one of the most important projects I do, and I realize the user base isn't as large as many of the other projects ~ However.....the # of models and asteroids modeled......seems to go up and down, and at the end of the day it seems like a lot of the work we do might be junked? My WUs aren't showing up invalid, but.....I know how many asteroids are out there, and with the progress that we've been making we might be off earth by the time we get 90% of them figured out.

Well, I do not understand much what do you mean. There is still the same number of models in Scientific Results section. We are also processing many data but results are valid because the computation was right, but the "result" of the result doesn't have to be right. Data is usually very noisy because of high magnitude so there is low success of finding the right period, but without processing all data we can't know, what part and where is data for finding the right period, if any.

Oh. I guess I was looking more at DAMIT, instead of the material you guys specifically published. My bad.
