Hi All,

I have a Samsung Galaxy III droid and I downloaded Boinc for it. Put in all my info correctly and it says "email already in use". This is for the Asteroids part. So I logged off of asteroidsathome.net website hoping that would solve it, but it did not. Do I need to stop my Boinc running on my desktop as well ? Or try something else ? I was not logged into my email either so that wasn't the issue.

It's saying the email address you attempted to use to attach your phone is already in use which I think means you gave an incorrect password for that email address. It has nothing to do with you being logged into email or using your email client while trying to attach your phone.

Or maybe you told it you are a new user instead of an existing user when adding the project in BOINC.

That is it, he have to select "Yes, existing user"
(people sometimes think 'existing' means 'project already existing (used) on this computer' when the meaning is 'I have existing account on that project')

Once you get it running please come back and let us know how it works, I have a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 and want to at least try that too.
