Application for Android doesn't work on Android 5 at the present but we are working on a new version for Android 5 with HTC support.

BOINC 7 isn't working on openSUSE 13.1 64 bit either.
Is there anybody who can "screw" me an rpm or YUM ?

I guess the "new workunits" post is unrelated to this?

I have a Nexus 7 2013 with Android 5.0.2 and I can't do anything, all the works fail after 2/3 seconds. When will you release a version compatible with Android Lollipop??

I was surprised to see too many (>7) 'bad' Android 5 devices gather on one WU and make it fail by 'Too many errors (may have bug)'
http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/workunit.php?wuid=29930814
http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/workunit.php?wuid=29930742

Many other WUs are too near that outcome (e.g. 5-6 errors from Android 5)

(I didn't expect so many people to have 'smartphones')

@Kyong
Even if you still don't have the new app you may need soon to create 'new' app version (the same old app but with <plan_class>)
Android running on an ARM CPU (arm) 102.11 (Android_4) <- to be sent only to NOT(Android >= 5) - this includes if Android version is not reported by the running BOINC client

When you are ready with the new app:
Android running on an ARM CPU (arm) 102.11 (Android_5) <- to be sent only to Android >= 5

@Kyong
If you are not sure how to make plan_class for Android you may ask Collatz

They have apps:
Android running on ARM 6.00 (android_arm_non_pie)
Android running on ARM 6.01 (android_arm_pie)

Some more of this WUs (which is bad for the project - good WUs to go in garbage)

Also, as you can see, some people can't get credit for computed tasks because all other tasks from the same WU were sent to 'bad' Android 5 devices:

I have added definitions for arm pie and non-pie versions. The current app should be sent only to non-pie version of Android. Can you please test if the sending is working correctly?

I (re)enabled Asteroids@Home on my Nexus 5, see: http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/results.php?hostid=139298

but two out of four work units failed. It runs CyanogenMod 12.1-20150730 (which mimics Android 5.1.1) and it indeed downloaded version 102.12 of the Asteroids@Home application. The fact that it the work units failed after a few hours suggests that the problem is not PIE but something else?

The other two units failed too, I have disabled Asteroids for now.

I got the impression that one of the units failed when I disconnected the phone from the power plug.
