Is this a recurring issue with this project, and if so how long is it usually before new units are ready for distribution.

New with this project so debating on how much time to keep for this project.

Scroll down, there are several threads about being out of work, no new work, etc.

This is a regular occurrence. The work units run down and sit empty for a few days. I find that they are refilled in 2 to 4 days usually.

If you run this as a backup/secondary project, set your preferred resource share and let the BOINC Manager download the tasks when available. It will average out for your resource share over time.

If this is your primary project, run a backup project on 0 resource share.

If this is your only project, run a 3-5 day work unit cache.
