I have recently gotten WU's which seem to run, but no work gets done, I catch up with them after a few hours and need to abort them.

The last one was ps_121255_725_95_1

Anyone else seen this sort of behavior?

So, you know, I am very new here, and only making a suggestion. I do know that especially at WCG, having the badges show up in the forums is a very big deal.

Certainly, it is just a nicety, a touch of grace. But enabling just the most up-to-date badge and doing it for Windows crunchers, the vast majority of crunchers, would really be nice.

So, I see that we have badges which show up on or account pages. It would be nice if they showed up on our posts on the Message boards. That is a very nice feature at World Community Grid, and also at GPUGrid.

Thanks, I am not in U.S. but I have seen it. I like watching astronomy series.

So the one's I have seen are both with Brian Cox, Wonders of the Solar System and Wonders of the Universe. These are excellent.

A lot of How the Universe Works is mediocre.

Here are a couple movies you should know about.

Extreme Astronomy This is a BBC film, heavy on ESO, but also so NASA.
Europe To The Stars This is a celebration of the 50'th anniversary of the birth of ESO.

Both are on YouTube, "Extreme..." as a 59 minute video;
"Europe To..." unfortunately whoever did this one did it in those 9 minute chunks YouTube used to require.

For anyone in the U.S. with Science Channel, the current season of "How the Universe Works" has a program about asteroids. I saw it last night, it was very interesting. This channel repeats the series often, so you should be able to catch it down the road.

I want to thank all of the crunchers on this project who viewed my blog post for the project,
http://sciencesprings.wordpress.com/2013/01/01/boinc-announces-asteroidshome-project/.

The blog has recently been tilting toward Astronomy, so this project is a good fit.

I am happy for Dave Anderson's news of this project. I am attached on two machines, soon a third. And I will be doing a post on my blog to announce the project. Recently, the blog has been tilting toward Astronomy, so, this is a good fit.
