Sorry Bro, but it was a different asteroid. http://blogs.nasa.gov/cm/blog/Watch%20the%20Skies/posts/post_1361037562855.html There are estimately several hundredthousands objects on an orbit around the sun, which cross our orbit sometimes. The reason why there was no warning ist simple - the russian meteor wasn't noticed by anyone. It was relativ small, damn fast, reflects nearly no light.. and there is no one on earth who is interested in funding a proactive observation system. In fact, there are only three telescopes on the whole planet which job is finding such objects. Call me cynic but i guess, someone has calculated that the random damage of such impacts is overall cheaper than a solid funding of a warning system. |

First the tell you, they are already gone, next they moan about the error which motivated them to leave (uuhhh...wait?) and in the end, they brag always with their RAC. I've notived that several times before ion the C@H message boards. |

At least, you know the identity trick. Most people/leaders in virtual groups (Gaming Clans, Crunching teams, etc.) know nothing about such things. I/We do the same in our WoW-Guild. It's very interesting to watch how these new forms of society evolve. Erm...any Neuromancerfans here? |

Posted 15 Jan 2013 by cykodennis Post: As I told before, I own a FX-4100 [Family 21 Model 1 Stepping 2]. I'm not an explizit "fan" of Intel, because i don't like monopolists (or "near-as-monopolists") anyhow. But this FX-4100 consumed very much power and was (compared to an Intel I3) two-three times slower. |
