I couldn't give a rats ASS what you think of SETI. It is immensely better than this frakking project only because this project allows ASSHOLES like you to do as you do. Listen up ASSHOLE! Just because someone does not know something that you do and comes to seek answers does in no way make them an idiot as you have so labeled me. I will be detaching from this project as soon as I have posted this. You want to continue your frakking treatment of me? Go to SETI and you will find me there. But beware, what you do here is NOT tolerated at SETI. Wait a frakking minute... I seem to remember you saying you were going to go to SETI several months ago. Did you ever show up? No? Too cowardly to go to a proper project and do your dastardly deeds there, huh? ;) See ya... Oh wait, no I won't. I won't be a part of this project with you around. So... I'll just say good riddance. :)

There is no malice in there, you just need to chill a bit :) Greetings, I received 2 different e-mails concerning QMC, thanks. :) Opinions or no, Dagorath does not need to berate, insult, call names, whatever just to get his point across. I don't care what his 'opinion' is about SETI or anything for that matter. His words are venom, spewed out because he is a coward and cannot face people in real life with the attitude he has. So, he takes it out on people like me that ask a simple question or Jim who responds to him in my absence. Yes, I know, I have not been around for some time. With cowards like Dagorath berating and insulting me even when I am not here, can you blame me? Now he starts in on someone else. I haven't been around because I had other, more important things to do. In all honesty, I have to start wondering about people that allow cowards like Dagorath to do as he does in a forum, and then defend him. Have a great day! :)

A few days ago I Lost control of my bicycle. I smashed into a parked car and broke my shoulder in 3 places. Now the arm of my favorite hand is immobilized and I can't even get myself off :-( So, did you use your nasty attitude mouth to ream that parked car a new a-hole for being where you could hit it? lol Did you search for the owner and give him/her what for for parking their car where you could hit it because you cannot ride a bicycle correctly? lol I bet you did. But then, you probably didn't because you are a coward that can only do what you do in the 'security' of cyberspace. Oh wait! Cyberspace ain't secure, I forgot. ROFLMFAO at the idiot Dago. As for the 600 "abandoned" tasks: I saw no point in wasting CPU time on them since they were beyond their deadline. If you cannot understand that, well... One more thing: Cut the childishness. Calling people names or hacking their user name is just so childish. I don't do it to you and have not. I do not expect it from adults. But it is only the first batch, the other bigger batch already has fixed the estimated time. And for everyone, try to be more polite, I know that it isn't easy when everyone has different opinion but the fact is that there is always more people with different opininos so arguing shouldn't be the first to do. I really thought this project was going to be really worth while. But, I won't stand for people like Dagorath responding to me in that way and stay with any project. We've all suffered from this... in my case I've had to cancel lots of wu's for the deadline was over me (perhaps I've cancelled 40-50 wu's). I have already removed this project from my client. I will not work for a project that has creeps like Dagorath. As for SETI: I'm as loyal as they come. I will always and forever crunch for SETI. They were around longer than any other projects. I have been with them since damn near day one, way before BOINC came onto the scene. Thanks again Enric, but like I said, it's too late now. This, however, has changed this morning. After reading this, one of the very finest of responses to my posts ever, I decided to suspend, and remove this project from my client. My apologies to the good people waiting on the results from my WUs. TO THE ADMINS OF THIS PROJECT: If you are going to allow perfect angels as this 'Dagorath' person is to represent you to other users with a problem or questions about the project, then you should shut down. I am truly sorry, I really thought this would be a very worth while project to be a part of. But now...? I don't think so! TO DAGORATH: You, Sir would not last 5 seconds over at SETI. Not with the attitude and means of responding to people such as you have. You would be banned from SETI in a heartbeat. I am SOOOO glad that you have this attitude because I know I would not run into you there and have to deal with your slime ball attitude. Oh, by the way, SMARTASS, I have my client set to maintain a 5 day cache of WUs no matter what project I run. Goodbye Asteroids@home! It's been, well... Just goodbye... :(

Most of the WUs I have say that the 'estimated' time to complete is 15m 21s. I would say that that is a mighty low estimation since it takes 3 to 5 hours to do a WU. Why? I started Asteroids because SETI was having their normal problems. Well, I have over 600 Asteroid WUs and none of my SETI WUs are getting any time on the CPUs. The deadline on some of them is tomorrow, Feb 7. 15 minute WUs taking 3 to 5 hours to complete is not a good incentive to continue with this project. Oh, and one other thing... Why are ALL the Asteroid WUs I have due tomorrow, Feb 7? There is no frakkin way 600+ WUs will be done tomorrow. :( Not at 3 to 5 hours per... Oh, and I wanted enough WUs to last me for 5 days, not 5 weeks! Keep on BOINCing...! :)
