I don't want my pc to use the GPU, so i switched it off in the BOINC-client, using the option "GPU using paused". Now my BOINC client downloaded 2 WU, 1 CPU-using and 1 GPU-using. Since i don't want that i cancelled the GPU-based WU, but 2 seconds later the client is starting to download another GPU-based WU. Did this game 5 times now, it always gets the same GPU-based WU. How can i have this forced downloads of GPU-WUs stopped ? I do play computer games and do not have such a strong graphics card anyway, my games all stuttered as i used it so i switch it off for distributed computing. |
