I began using BOINC in 2011 creating Galaxy maps with SkynetPOGS. After a while I stopped using BOINC but recently returned when I heard about Gridcoin.
Being payed for research is pretty cool and Having wanted to contribute to the LHC projects for a while decided to finally pick up BOINC again and start crunching.
I also decided to use my GPU seeing as it's idle 60% of the time when I'm not playing games. |
