| There isn't a lot of profit motive behind studying asteroids or any space projects in general. It mainly relies on state funding or donations. History has shown it's a matter of time before an asteroid hits the Earth. Humanity can't afford to ignore the threats, and we need to expand our knowledge about Asteroids. It is also helpful just to have a basic understanding of what is out there, their various sizes, shapes, and their rotation. |
