| Hello, I am currently living in a suburb of Houston, Texas. I am 56 and have been in computers since the mid 70's when I built an Altair computer. I have worked with Lucent, BBN, GTE, and Alcatel doing many projects. Several friends of mine are Engineers at NASA and I have been interested in any further development of space sciences since I was knee high. I currently work at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center as a pharmacy tech and am involved in several hardware/software projects. I am finishing a B.S. Degree in IT @ DeVry University and am merging two careers. My hobbies are the sciences and computers. I tinker constantly with programming, physics, chemistry, pulling apart computers and routers and rebuilding them, and playing around with different OS's. My favorite channels are The Science Channel and History Channel 2. Hmm, that probably qualifies me as a geek but, I don't think geek is a hobby. |

| Detecting near earth asteroids and other space objects is crucial to understanding our neighborhood and what we need to be aware of. I am an astronomy buff and astrophysics is a hobby I enjoy although I am definitely an amateur. Any project that has broad scientific and educational support is something I whole heartedly support. |
