| I am a 54 Year old retired Mechanical Engineer originally from Pennsylvania that is now lucky enough to be able to live in the Nevada Desert far enough outside of Las Vegas and look up at night into a clear, unobstructed sky. I'm not one of the overly paranoid folks that think every shooting star is going to make us a new KT boundary or wipe out all animal life as we know it, but the fact remains that they ARE out there and that one could and probably will some day. Given it's been 65 million+ years since the last one, I figure we are long overdue. |
