Your personal background. |
I'm an ESL (English Second Language) teacher currently in Nakhon Si Thammarat, in Southern Thailand, and I'm also a speculative fiction writer. I'll be 38 in October of this year, grew up and lived in Pretoria, South Africa for most of my life, and have always had a great interest in astronomy. |
Your opinions about Asteroids@home |
1) I chose to run Asteroids@home because multitudes of extra-solar objects need to be found and categorised - it's the only way we'll have a chance of detecting an impact-certain asteroid in time, but there are also mineral-mining considerations at play.
2) I think it's an incredibly important project which needs to be more widely funded.
3) Too early to tell, but I have a feeling the project is doing great work, so there probably won't be any suggestions. |
