| Hi my name is Terry I am male 56 years young I was a police officer for 16 years in Modesto Ca. Then in Feb of 1987 I was hit head on by a drunk driver that caused permeate injury to myself which caused me to lose everything I had worked so hard to get in life. I lost my wife my two boys my brand new house and since then I have never been able to recover anything everything seems to get worse. I've tried to go back to work but found my bilateral hip replacements dislocating all the time. So now I live on SSA which is below the cost of living I use to make in a week what I make in a month. I just bought a car in 11/2012 and its been in the shop trying to get it smog gable so I can drive it and today is 4/2013. Hope my luck changes soon. DMV wants 375.00 dollars in back registration fees plus insurance and smog not to mention the total cost of repairs I've already spent well over 1200.00 so my hobbies don't have any anymore because no way of doing them I cant even get to my Doctors appointments without taking a bus. I have 2 grandchildren that live 200 miles away from me one is 2 years old the other is 8months and I haven't seen them yet sure I could take a bus down to see them but then no transportation or a place to stay when I am there. So does anyone out there is this great world have any advise??? |
