| Minister and retired military combat veteran. Reared in the Midwest (Kansas and Oklahoma) with traditional family values. Always curious. Spent a year working with Deep Submergence Group One and the Bathyscaphe Trieste in the 60's. Now mostly retired so I have more time to devote to hobbies. Saving to upgrade my telescope to a 14" Celestron. Unfortunately the tax man always seems to have first dibs on my money. |

| Pardon the pun but, asteroids have obviously had an impact on the evolution of earth and the life thereon. As the saying goes it's not a matter of IF we will be hit again but WHEN. Since funding for such critical research is difficult to come by it's up to the ordinary citizen to pitch in. By pooling a vast number of personal computers together we can form a massive computational system capable of providing the processing power necessary to find the answers we need as a species. |
