Greetings from Germany! I am a female, 58-year-old specialist in gynecology and obstetrics. In addition to medicine and related disciplines I have always been interested in many sciences, from archeology to zoology, from astronomy to particle physics. I am pleased to learn about a variety of research projects by Distributed Computing and to be able to make a tiny contribution to them. In my unwavering optimism I hope that this and similar projects help slowly but steadily to form a large world-wide family of all human beings, not wiping out the uniqueness and individuality of its members but respecting each other.
