Consider $10.oo US or even $25.oo US to help keep the systems operational. Free-DC stays afloat because good people need their statistics compounding daily. Asteroids@Home has found themselves with eager new members and await the influx of funds to accomplish the goals we all hope will keep us all safe. Posted 3 Jul 2020 by ![]() Post: This is from Phys.org website this morning July 3, 2020: and I quote from the article; "The two asteroids are located at different distances from us, so they did not actually collide as their intersecting streaks might suggest. They were uncovered by citizen scientists Sovan Acharya, Graeme Aitken, Claude Cornen, Abe Hoekstra and Edmund Perozzi, some of the volunteers who have been inspecting images from the iconic space telescope in search for rocky interlopers as part of the Hubble Asteroid Hunter citizen science project." Folks of the Asteroid@home project - citizens are making a difference in asteroid detection. https://phys.org/news/2020-07-image-hubble-captures-galaxy-asteroids.html |

Please take a concerted effort to donate even as small as US$25.oo or more to help find, locate, and install a new larger drive to handle the increased interest in this project. Once again every effort to maintain this project takes money, if you have some loose change take the time and Donate! |
