I am assuming I am getting a relatively small file from asteroidsathome, then my computer is crunching numbers and sending back a relatively small file. While I can use something like 400GB of data each month I occasionally bump up against that and have to buy more. Can I assume the amount of data that I am sending and receiving isn't an issue? Speedtest.net shows my net speed is not impacted so it doesn't seem I'm constantly sending and receiving data. BTW...opening asteroidsathome.net takes several minutes. Each page I click on within the web site can take a minute or more to open... is this web site just slow or is it Firefox or a adblocker or something. Literally no other web page I go to is as slow as this. I can deal with it...just curious.

It's very little. I'm doing GPU tasks only and they are just under 100KB for up and download. And depending on your hardware you can only do like 10 an hour or something, so we're talking 2 MB/hr, or about 50MB per day.

The website slowness isn't your computer. The project never moves any returned science data off the main server to a separate database like other projects do. So each page refresh has to parse thousands and thousands of database entries for every host before drawing the page for your browser.
I've got ~700,00 validated tasks on my account dating as far back as early March of this year in the database.
