The title says it all. Me and my friend created a group in which we primarily used old Android devices for computations. But back in july all our Android phones simply stopped receiving tasks. Ever since they hadn't received a single task. What can be the reason?

Hi Seacat17,
the current Android application needs a 64-bit ARMv8 capable CPU. We are considering building a 32-bit version for older ARMv7 phones, but I can't guarantee when that will happen.

keep in mind that these 10y old devices are not very powerful. While it only takes a few hours to complete a single work unit on an ARMv8 device, it could take days or even weeks on an ARMv7 device (1-4 cores).

Well, the deadlines are usually more than 10 days, so... Eh, I don't know, maybe you're right. I just don't know how to put these old guys to use if even BOINC doesn't work on them anymore.
