My various boxes seem to have stalled trying to contact asteroidsathome.net
I just put it down to an outage, but after further checking, it seems to be just my home network :-(
Currently accessing via an external proxy to post this, but traceroute from my home network ends up at au21.troja.mff.cuni.cz (195.113.29.165) ok, but an http(s) connection to asteroidsathome.net results in "failed: Connection refused"

ISP is Init7, subnet 212.51.128.0/19
Have I done something wrong?

I got the same problem on my home network as well. I had to login/view this post using my phone on the 5G network.

One of my teammates is having similar issues as well.

Same here. Have had over 1000 tasks stalled uploading for a few days now.

I'm not sure what the problem was, but yesterday I found all of my Raspberry Pis complaining that they couldn't upload. Attempting to get on the forum got a Connection Refused. When I tried to get on at work, the forums worked for a few minutes, then boom, Connection Refused, just as I was trying to post. I then broke out my phone and tried to get on the forums, and was able to bring up one page before being blocked yet again.

I guess I must have worn out my welcome somehow?

I seem to have the same issue. not sure what to do about it. but I have like 2-3dozen tasks that either cant upload or cant download for asteroids@home. Apparently they don't want people to do work for them.

Due to the DDoS attack, stricter access limits were enforced this week, to ensure the server remains accessible. Unfortunately, some regular BOINC users may also be affected by bans.

This is unintentional, and the ban is only temporary. The admin is aware of the issue and is also working on a new firewall and servers to improve load handling and enhance protection against malicious actors.

We all aim for a long-term resolution, but it may take some time. Since I don’t have access to the servers, I can't do anything to speed up the process.
