When running a task I get the error 'Calculation error'
with the following error:

<core_client_version>8.0.2</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
The system cannot find the file specified.
(0x2) - exit code 2 (0x2)</message>
<stderr_txt>

Error: Number of lc points is greater than MAX_LC_POINTS = 2000

</stderr_txt>

Me too, it appears to be the tasks labeled: input_1252
Tasks labeled Input_125 seem to be fine.
I'm guessing an issue with the WU batch.

Also seeing a high rate of failures - a very crude guess would be around 30%.
At least they fail straight away rather than burning CPU time up before failing!
I suppose that means we'll eat this otherwise large batch quite quickly

They really shouldn't have released this batch with the LC Points > 2000 when they never have gotten around to officially releasing the updated app that handles these types of tasks.
Only if you have the unreleased 102.22 versioned app do they work.

Agreed.

I got a batch of Asteroids tasks, but about half --29-- ended immediately as "error while computing."
Only three are currently processing. The rest are pending validation.

Would it be too much to hope that the people who run this project might intervene to fix this problem?

i'm not sure if there's a way they can identify which tasks have the problem and which dont without pulling ALL the tasks.

at least they fail quickly without wasting time.
