Seem to be getting this on all my hosts now - looks like it started occurring somewhere between 12:00Z and 13:00Z today

I'm getting the same thing, work is failing to upload in addition to the problem of computation errors.

Getting the same thing here.

$ curl -Lv 'http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc_cgi/cgi'

> Accept: */*

Oddly enough, HTTPS seems to work fine; as a workaround, you can change the scheduler_url in client_state.xml to trick BOINC into doing that.

Good find on trying HTTPS :-)
I changed a couple of clients last night, and it's held up overnight, so looks like a fix for now

If I use the url with cgi in it and https I get an error like you did
What I have is this: https://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/
That gets into the server, it "reports" the tasks, but does not clear them out of my queue.
They are transferred but not reported.

Unfortunately there's no way to do this "fix" on Android since everything is 'locked up/hidden' and no way to access.

Seems to be resolved now.

The scheduler URL on the homepage probably should be changed to HTTPS though... saves a 301

Yes, all ok. I see my Android tasks have successfully uploaded.

Since they did the work overnight (EU time) everything is ok now with my BOINC.
