1984 Asteroids@home 30-06-2025 11:34 Started download of ps_250613_input_775_1159
1985 Asteroids@home 30-06-2025 11:34 Giving up on download of ps_250613_input_775_1159: permanent HTTP error

Please, could you reconfigure your server / your firewall or whatelse is blocking the http-service ? !

I tried to take part at the latest Formular-Boinc-Sprint but I had too much of these errors.

Two of my clients weren't able to download the needed .exe, the http-Error kickt in again and again and again.

sounds like your antivirus settings were blocking the download.

It's not an antivirus issue. I don't run any antivirus software and I have had nothing but download errors for all
Asteroids cpu tasks for the past couple of days.
Input files on the server are missing errors.

The server had some connectivity issues over the last few days. I had a few failures too, but they didn’t happen often. Anyway, the server currently doesn't have available tasks to send.

I also had random 403 errors on the website, so it could be related (now it's back to normal). Let’s hope the next work batch goes more smoothly...

YETI's issue is slightly different. he has issues downloading the app binary from the project. and that happened during the last formula-boinc sprint (when most other people we're having the same issue). from June 26-29. he had other hosts working fine during this time.

the issue you're facing now is probably related to some project issue that you first reported from July 1, two days later affecting all hosts.
