I had a lot of those certificate problems a month or two ago, but I got it all worked out by manually adding certificates.

The other day I fired up an old machines that was not around for all that. It was getting HTTP transient errors when it tried to download astroids work units.

So I manually added the certificate to that machine, and now it is no longer getting HTTP/SSL errors.

HOWEVER, now while it seems to be able to talk to the server, it keeps being told there are no work units available. But when I check the astroids website, right now it has almost 4 million WUs ready to send. Not only that, but all of my other computers (all are intel Macs) are getting plenty of Asteroid WUs no problem.

Anyone know what might be going on here?

WELP I guess it just needed a little time to "think it over" because that machine has plenty of Asteroids units now. Its a bummer you have to manually add their cert to every machine you want to crunch for them though.
