There is a maintenance being in progress, server will be stopped for a few hours. It should be working again at about 18:00 UTC.

When times are posted in UTC it's pretty use less to say anything will be return in UTC, especially when a person may have no idea what X UTC means, or how it might relate to a specific time zone.

It should be working again at about 18:00 UTC.= nice and cryptic

So how would you suggest he tell us the expected completion time? The project is in Prague. Perhaps you'd like to know local time in Prague?

I'm in Sydney. The majority of users are scattered around the world so the only way to put it would be in UTC.

How about looking it up in Wikipedia?

I am in Germany, btw :)

Easy ways to see UTC or any other time:

Directly in Windows (standard Windows clock feature since Vista) and/or in Firefox:

So set the two additional Windows clocks to whatever you want:

In sites:

http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/

Canada times and their relation to UTC:
