The original Mac app was likely built with a free cross-compiler so no legal probs there. It's the highly optimised apps where the legal considerations become a problem. Not saying this is what happened but suppose the optimised apps were built on a proprietary compiler that oh, I dunno, just guessing about this next part, maybe won't build for Mac unless it's running on a Mac? I think you can figure out the rest.

For Mac we need XCode from Apple which is bundled GCC. So we need Mac to run Mac OS legally.

Edit: IMCROSS is a little older but may work. App itself is ok, but build of boinc lib may be the problem. I'll check it.

I can DL XCode and then if you explain me what to do, I can try to make the new version!!
