Queue shows 5,965 ready to send on the server status page:

The newest set of WUs are much longer than the previous set, so the rate of return has reduced. This in turn has affected the rate of uptake of WUs from the queue.

So supply appears greater than demand at this moment.
No reason to expect your wing-man WU will not get re-sent.
It may take some time to go out, but may be done on a faster CPU (based on probability) so you should not have to wait uncomfortably long.

If you run close to completion limit, just abort and the server will re-issue the WU to someone else.
If you over-run the limit it will re-issue the WU to someone else anyway.

Good to know. It's interesting, though, to see that people are getting WU's and submitting results, but the UL/DL server is on the fritz. I've been polling for WU's for a couple of days, and I've gotten nothing whatsoever. Is it random distribution for getting WU's? I know there aren't 5000+ people waiting for all those WU's, so each of us should be getting some work- multiple tasks. Am I missing something, or is the server just not fully working? Would like to know... Orbit started failing when things like this befell it...

The UL/DL server status is misleading. Ignore it :)

Thanks :) I just noticed that you all were working on making this project Windows-friendly. Maybe one day all computing systems, Windows, Linux, Mac, will be able to sing in perfect harmony (like the song). I look forward to helping out on my Windows PC... and returning lots of results about color, shape, albedo, spin, and trajectory of all those rocks up there... :)
