Just started doing Asteroids as part of the B@A AA with a new puter and I have been given another CPID. IS there anyway this can be corrected back to my "old" one which should still work on prior projects? Or am I dreaming? If you are talking about this number: ID: 420478 at PrimeGrid and the same computer at Einstein ID: 10231105 then no there is no way to sync them as each number means something to that project alone. |

Last modified: 6 Jun 2014, 6:54:00 UTC Did you calculate Asteroids on your old rig, too? In that case you should have used the same account again. But I guess you want to consolidate statistics with some other projects instead, right? In the latter case you should use the same email address on all projects and also calculate some workunits from the other projects (with the old accounts, of course) on your new rig. That should sync the cpid again (could take some days, however). Usually it's not necessary to add all projects to the new computer. For example if you have two PCs and three projects A, B and C, it's usually sufficient to run A and B on the first and B and C on the second computer to keep the cpid in sync. Even if the first PC (or project A) is no longer existent. |

Thanks Nightfall Just to be clear, since A@H was the first (and only) project I've connected to this time on new puter, I should also connect to say POGS and WCG and say Seti as these were worked on by past 5 puters (Sea air is a bugger to puters when you take a break) with the old CP ID and that should in time fix the problem? |
