My pc has drafted in June, two tasks, but the server was disabled to receive the report for several days. I went on vacation for 5 days to return the report was sent, but the work has not been validated by maturity exceeded. It was the server out of service, deadlines should be postponed when the cause is to be attributed to it. 15 hours of processing my pc has absorbed. I think that the current rules are ridiculous and you? |

I think stuff happens and this time it was you that got caught by it, next time it could be someone else. Hopefully this was a one time thing and you can now move on. Over time you will find that EVERY project has problems, the key is to be flexible and roll with it instead of getting angry about something we crunchers have no control over. There are LOTS of Boinc projects to chose from, in fact here is a mostly up to date list with the Boinc ones noted: http://www.distributedcomputing.info/projects.html Unfortunately the list in our desktop Boinc software isn't always up to date so finding new projects we might like can be difficult, the above site can help with that search. |
