Only about 2 of every 10 tasks downloads AND runs. All others fail! All work units seem to be similar yet most fail! WHY? Seems such a big waste of resources and time. When the 20% good one finish running, it seems that all the failures "self-abort" so I don't do anything with them..., but it seems like I could use my computer time better.

Go to the News section and read the 'New Workunits' thread, Kyong has posted what he found and is doing about it. |

"Posted: 25 Mar 2015, 14:42:41 UTC" You had some new tasks given at "25 Mar 2015, 14:41:18 UTC" (1-2 minutes before post) http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/results.php?hostid=152379 Your other computer have only 'Error while computing' and 'Abandoned' tasks: Edit: just when I type this you received new tasks: http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/results.php?hostid=152381 I don't know why all 'Error while computing' say 'Incorrect function', Overclock? - ALF - "Find out what you don't do well ..... then don't do it!" :) |

I might have had something to do with a lot of the WUs disappearing. :p Saw it mentioned on POGS that this project was in desperate need of crunchers; so moved over a bunch of quad-sockets to help out. Hit the stats below (as of last night) in less than four days. Would keep with it if it weren't for all the checksum problems. My guess is that CPU/Android WUs are being sent to CPU clients... but chances are I'm completely wrong. :) Total credit = 1,300,800 Recent average credit = 104,080.01 Regards, fastgeek |
