The International Astronomical Union is allowing astronomical organisations (like theSkyNet) to submit potential names for 20 exoplanet systems and I was wondering if Asteroids@Home will do the same?

We can submit names and vote on them. +1 but not voting! d 1st cruncher which finds Asteroid, should name it...or can leave a naming to the 2nd cruncher which evaluates! it would draw many people to A@h! non-profit org. Last modified: 2 Jul 2015, 12:38:32 UTC A@H has nothing to do with naming asteroids, this is in hands of the International Astronomical Union. doesn't A@h propose & find new asteroids...why can't a (users of) A@h name them then? non-profit org. Play4Life in Zagreb, Croatia, EU |
