I am trying to add a few computers to one account unsuccessfully.
When running the boinc manager I add the project,when selecting the "already a user option" i set the mail and password and the reply s that they are not correct.

Then you are entering the wrong info, I have over 10 pc's here at my house and they all use the same account when crunching for the same project. You use the exact same info for each pc, no changes what so ever, and it should work just fine.

If you click on my name, then view my pc's, then view all, you will see a list of them, that's how I did that, each pc uses the exact same email address and password and all work together, on separate units of course, but combined under one account.

There's another way to attach a second or third etc PC using the authenticator method.

As long as you have one PC already successfully attached then..
1) Go to that PC and copy the file called "account_asteroidsathome.net_boinc.xml" from C:\ProgramData\Boinc\account_asteroidsathome.net_boinc.xml
2) Then paste that file to the next PC that you would like attached in the same position as above.
3) Restart Boinc. That's it.
Boinc will then try to automatically attach during start up.
4) repeat on each PC you want attached.

Doing it this way you know the information is exactly the same on each PC as it was on the first. This way it uses the authenticator instead of username/password

An even easier way would be to use an account manager such as BAM to do much of the attaching work for you.
