I like using my pc while crunching with BOINC and this is the only project i have had this issue with. Is there any way i can get rid of the video lag?

How many units are running at one time? If more than one then maybe, otherwise it could take lot of trial and error time adjusting your gpu settings.

No, it's not possible to limit gpu usage (GPU Load %) by any BOINC file.

app_info.xml
app_config.xml
cc_config.xml

Better set BOINC to not use GPU while you are using the computer
or set Options -> Exclusive applications (e.g. for your games)
BOINC Manager Menu

You might be able to with a third party utility; tthrottle will throttle the GPU according to temperature, for example. Or, you could simply set "Don't use GPU when computer is in use" and the delay to a low setting.

To remedy this shortcoming in the next release of application is not planned?

The use of different settings app_info.xml, app_config.xml and cc_config.xml on different graphics cards with different driver versions, did not bring tangible results.

I have focused on FMA4 app for new intel CPU's.

I will look on GPU apps with 9xx cards, but I have no timeline for now.

Happy crunching.
