I have recently gotten WU's which seem to run, but no work gets done, I catch up with them after a few hours and need to abort them.

The last one was ps_121255_725_95_1

Anyone else seen this sort of behavior?

Unfortunately not, those workunits work for me on my little humble linux laptop.
ps_121255 series I had to do it once but that was because of computation error.

I have 3 Linux hosts and 1 Windows 7 host attached and they have no problem with the tasks.

You have 5 hosts attached. 2 of them are receiving and returning wus without a problem. 3 are having trouble. If the cause is bad wus then why are 2 hosts not receiving any bad wus? Wus are sent out at random therefore if 1 host gets them then all should get them. You have 2 that do not get them therefore the wus are not bad and the problem is in those 3 hosts not in the wus.

Are those the 3 hosts you were complaining about at the BOINC dev forums the other day? Looks like 2 laptops and a desktop which is what you mentioned at BOINC dev, IIRC. Are they crunching other projects? If so are tasks from those projects completing OK or is it just Asteroids tasks?
