Last modified: 26 Feb 2019, 4:23:16 UTC Since I updated my OnePlus 5T to Android 9, my smartphone doesn't receive any WUs. Only Einstein@Home send me but I'd like to crunch also for Asteroids@Home. What is the problem? Also Huawei P30 Pro doesn't receive any WU. It seems that Android 9 devices aren't compatible with some projects. ASUS X570 E-Gaming AMD Ryzen 9 3950X, 16 core / 32 thread 4.4 GHz AMD Radeon Sapphire RX 480 4GB Nitro+ Nvidia GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X Trio 4x16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB 3466 MHz ![]() |

Last modified: 18 Jun 2019, 21:21:22 UTC I'm not sure how Einstein codes their apps but from something I picked up on the S@H boards: the app(s) may be written in 32-bit mode, and newer Android versions tend to be 64 (to run on newer 64-bit CPUs), and may have 'poor' support for 32-bit apps. (As an aside, there's an announcement somewhere that Google wants most developers - on the Facebook-BOINC-Clash of Clans app level, at least- to automatically have 64-bit apps, due to the availability of those newer CPUs, by August.) ![]() |
