I've run BOINC tasks for 17 years without problems. Recently, SETI@home indicated they needed to pause and process the results they'd collected. At that time I swapped out SETI@home for Asteroids@home. In the three weeks since I made the change I've noticed that Asteriods@home is not doing any work. (Einstein@home continues to work just fine.) I've set the preferences for A@H to be the same as the preferences for S@H and E@H, but it does not make any difference. What am I missing? (I also decided to add LHC@home and Rosetta@home, and they do not show any work either. Only E@H continues to work.)

Please help.

Windows-10 Home, 64-bit
BOINC Manager 7.14.2 (x64)
wxWidgets Version 3.0.1

I can't see the asteroids@home at my personal BOINC project list although my Raspberry has done 39.40 quadrillion floating-point operations during las 12 days (total number of tasks is 155).

I have exactly the same problem for the same reason, attached to Asteroids@home a few days ago because SETI is hibernating. No work so far. I also attached to GPU Grid, same thing. I have also been attached to Milkyway@home for some time and it continues to run fine.

I am also running a desktop PC with Windows 10.

What have we missed?

I've recently installed asteroids and have received work units. Though many problems can interfere with processing or server comms, try this link of someone else trying to solve a similar issue. The commentary is applicable. https://boinc.bakerlab.org/forum_thread.php?id=6221

sometimes this project has no "Tasks ready to send"

so check the project status page under "Computing status -> Work#"

http://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/server_status.php
"less than a pixel"

It took a few days but today I started getting work from both my new projects. GPU Grid now shows up on my BOINC project list but Asteroids still does not. A member recommended I check my preferences to make sure each project is enabled to export stats, but I don't see a field or tab anywhere for that. Can anyone tell me where the setting to export stats is located?

My asteroids statistics are now visible at Boinc. Didn't do anything.

After doing some additional searching and reading, I made changes to the BOINC Computing Preferences.

Use at most 100% of the CPU's
Use at most 70% of the CPU Time

Suspend when non-BOINC CPU Usage is above 25%

Those changes seem to have resolved the problem. I am now seeing progress on all four projects I'm participating in.
