@Sparky66, @Mike Cebula. The Twitter account Sparky66 found appears to be Radim's personal account, which hasn't been active since March (but worth a try). This appears to be the one to make use of: https://twitter.com/asteroidsathome I don't tweet, so I can't give it a prod myself. Others already have, but to no effect. |

I have over 100 completed work units with due date July 11 (tomorrow) that have not uploaded. Transfer cue gives back-off time but when time runs out nothing uploads. Will I lose this work if it goes past due? If so I will dedicate my computing resources to other projects. |

Same as everyone else here, I have a bunch of tasks that won't upload due to "can't open log file". I'm relatively lucky in that I have a bunch of disk space and other projects, so not really a problem even if I'm told to abort those tasks. Nonetheless, do let me know if I need to do that, as they're just kind of hanging around right now. Until I hear otherwise I'll just let them retry until they get through. |

Maybe one or another of your work units cannot be used, as the replacement unit will come ahead of yours, but for the other ones it is OK. If you delete your work units, they are certainly all lost. |

I've got over 400 WU's unable to upload because of this fault, 3 machines now sitting idle, and likely as not won't receive any credit, let alone an apology for the sheer waste of electric. This is the 6th outage in 5 weeks, and I'm fed up reading apologies for the poor overworked guy running the project - because he ain't!! And yet again, we wait 5 weeks for an apology that's not even true - the problem is still ongoing. I have no faith that this will even be read by an 'admin' or 'project scientist', because there's never any acknowledgement that this crap will end - even a weekly update would be something, but I won't hold my breath...as I said in a previous post, this is sheer bloody arrogance from a guy who obviously doesn't give a flying f*@~ about the crunchers donating their resources(time, software, hardware, ELECTRIC COST), to a worthwhile project that's being let down by HIM. Rant over, and I'm outta here! BYEEEE! |

While the servers may appear to be "back to normal" they are a long way from operating correctly. 1 - Completed tasks do not report 2 - Completed tasks do not upload 3 - A "0 resource share" computer got the best part of 200 tasks, not two (one for each GPU) In short, there are a fair number of problems that need to be resolved, and resolved quickly and correctly. |

Done, all my servers "removed", cancelled a few tasks (maybe an hundred tasks that didn't started yet) and still 371 waiting to upload and complete (maybe). I'm done with it, all my ressources are gone to another project now... I was happy to help on this one... but wait, I don't want to let my servers compute for "air" only... waste of ressources and time for everyone :/ (I was in the Top 40 users in term of RAC, another time (or not)) |

I'm having problems as well. Had to abort 20 finished work units. I have one that just finished but isn't uploading. Keep getting messages like this: 7/10/2020 8:18:06 PM | Asteroids@home | [error] Error reported by file upload server: can't open log file '../log_project1/file_upload_handler.log' (errno: 9) At this point I've set this project to "No new tasks." |
