Today I got 17 Asteroids W.U.s.

There is something seriously wrong with this project, where the server does not update as to work available, etc. I've been sent over 1400 wu's which defies rhyme and reason. And still no contact from those running it..Giving up, I'd rather crunch WCG and Einstein. This project is a total mess.

I am looking for an update to the status for the Project.

When will you be ready to accept completed work units still out in the field from the period prior to system failure ?

And when will you resume new operations.

Just trying to be helpful... The scheduler reply is not right. The scheduler request/reply I tried today returned a reply of 9.8 MB size. I think it should be something in the 30 KB size range. The content of the file is nothing like a .xml structure; it starts off with a "ELF>0..." string before huge amounts of, presumably, binary data. My wild guess is that the PROGRAM for producing the scheduler reply is being sent, instead of the OUTPUT of that program. I see that distinctive "ELF>" string at the beginning of binary application images elsewhere in my Linux system.

I am getting the same error as Dark Angel when I try to download new work on computers that were already attached to the project before the outage, and on newly attached computers.

Message sorting does not seem to work -- this thread always starts with 2021 posts regardless of what sorting
option is selected -- at least on my Windows 11 system running FireFox.

** Update **

Josef Durech responded with the following ....

There is still some problem with sending the units 🙁 It seems the chain of problems is neverending.

No credit is being granted for work units at this time. I will continue to crunch for a while in this fashion, but it would be nice to see crediting resume. :)

P.S. The drop down menus work for me on Chrome Win10.

The drop-down menus all work fine for me in Windows 10 in Firefox, Chrome, and Edge browsers.

I am also getting zero credits on the completed tasks.

However, it appears that many of the downloaded tasks are being cancelled by the server before they can be processed.
