If this result (https://asteroidsathome.net/boinc/workunit.php?wuid=149557144) is to be believed, the hosts returning valid results did so with just two seconds of CPU time. I've never seen an Asteroids task complete in two seconds, but the host that took a normal amount of time had its result marked as invalid. Has something gone wrong with this work unit?

Edit: Just realised the other two hosts ran GPU tasks, so no problem, but did the server send out the task again because of the CPU time difference beetween the first two tasks?

no it sent out the task again because the task results didnt match. nothing to do with cpu time. the validator doesnt care about that.

but yes, CPU time is very low on the CUDA GPU app. the cpu time isn't reflective of computational effort for CUDA tasks, since the CPU's only role here is to support the GPU which is doing the work.

Thank you. It looks like my host returned two unacceptable results in sucession for reasons that are unknown to me. Both tasks completed with no reported errors, and the results from other tasks from the same host have all been validated. So a bit odd.
