Can you try to install it and then start over. Meanwhile you may need to restrict the number of WUs your platform will download until the issue is resolved. C++ Redistributable can be downloaded from Microsoft. Computing preferences can be changed from here. Keep me posted with the result. Prior to getting my NVIDIA card working, I had like 290 "calculation errors." Then I upgraded to the recommended NVIDIA driver for the 970, for Linux Mint 20.3.
