I receive computation errors on BOINC when running the application "Period Search Application v102.17 (cuda118_win10)
windows_x86_64"

When I look at the tasks I see "Error while computing" and see an
Exit status of:
-1073741515 (0xC0000135) STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND
Stderr output of:
<core_client_version>7.20.2</core_client_version>
<![CDATA[
<message>
(unknown error) - exit code 3221225781 (0xc0000135)</message>
]]>

Does anyone know why this might be happening?

Hi wanderphx,

Here you can try a few solutions already been discussed in other forums:
- exit code -1073741515 (0xc0000135)
COMPUTATION ERRORS
Exit status -1073741515 (0xC0000135) STATUS_DLL_NOT_FOUND

One other thing, despite the official statement from NVIDIA for the min supported driver version for the CUDA SDK I strongly suggest you to update your Nvidia drivers to the latest one.

I hope this will help. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the links! It seems based on reading that DLL or graphics drivers are the most likely issue.

I used the Dependency Walker app and it showed dozens of DLL's missing. But, I'm not sure how to add them all. Removing/adding the project and clearing cache/folders seems to be one suggestion.

I have removed the asteroids project, rebooted my PC then re-added it but still received the error. I am updating graphics drivers to see if that works next. I will update here in case it helps other users in the future.

Graphics drivers were updated and so far so good.

I have a PSA 102.17 (cuda118_win10) ps_230111_input_31574_45_1 that is working fine so far at 63%. I'll follow up when complete.

PSA 102.13 (fma_win10)'s are working fine but I haven't noticed the fma_win10's have reoccurring problems before.

**UPDATE**
Solution for me was to remove the project, re-add it and then update graphics card.
