I am running seti@home as my back up project , but they too are doing maintenance so only have a couple of W/U left before my computer is idle. I know Kyong runs this project on his own, but a little more in the way of updates would be most useful. Greatest respect to you Kyong, but we crunches only wish to be kept in the loop so we know whats happening with the project. |

Post: i just increased my cache to 3 days work,in readiness for new work units when they appear, server showing no tasks to send, yet, i received 151 tasks which i am presuming are re-sends, just hoping if these are re-sends that my computers will be credited for the work they have now, and hoping they will not be cancelled by server giving no credit for any time wasted in crunching them. |

Post: I have noted that my valid w/u`s count seems to be fluctuating, on several occasions it has reached 5300 w/u`s are marked valid, but then starts to drop, is this normal???? as the heading says, just curious. Example, this morning it said 5300 w/u`s valid but a short while after reported 5299 w/u`s valid, it can sometimes drop be as many as 20 plus w/u`s. My overall credit does not drop however, just seems odd to me though. |

Post: Upload/Download server is still runing so if you upload your work till deadline validator should accept it. Confused.com, all my completed w/u`s are stating ready to report, but have not uploaded from my computer, so will they be accepted when the maintenance is completed, given my deadline date starts from the 14th and dates later than that. In other words, if the download and upload servers are still running why are the completed w/u`s still on my computer? |
