Posted 5 May 2019 by additude Post: What I've realized is that just because it says "No Work Units Available" that just means that at that instance any work units that become available are quickly sent to clients requesting them. Work Units Available is a "Buffer" and if all the work units available are being sent away to waiting clients as soon as they are generated, then the "Buffer" will show 0 available in the buffer. How quickly the work units are generated and made available and depending on the number of requests for work units are being made determines how many work units are available in the buffer. |

Posted 6 Mar 2019 by additude Post: At this time, the server is showing: Tasks ready to send 0 Tasks in progress 78720 My monitoring of the "Tasks in Progress" over the last few days show that value decreasing at approximately 10,000 tasks per day..... So in about 8 to 10 days, all tasks will be dried up and processed....surly the 11-ish day deadline will provide some last day stragglers.... Then the Asteroids BOINC project is DOA..... I hope whoever is in charge is well and not the victim of some tragedy.... |

This is day three of No WU's available.... although I did receive a handful yesterday on one of my machines. I'm kind of thinking it's not just a reboot of the server... but maybe it is...
