Hi

Like most of you, I'm currently waiting for the upload problem to be fixed so I can upload my workunits.

Until the project hopefully gets back to normal (the last couple of months have been silly, honestly), I'm looking for new projects, and I hope some of you will be able to help me.

The thing is, I really, really like Asteroids' workunits. They are not that big (take around an hour to complete), and the deadline is forgiving (around 14 days or so). This fits me perfectly, since my computer is not turned on all day, every day. With Asteroids I never worry whether I will be able to finish a workunit in time.

I also participate in Rosetta. Their workunits are much larger (a single workunit takes my computer 8 hours to complete) and the deadline is 2-3 days or so. This means that when Rosetta downloads five or seven units, the last units may not be finished in time. That's not nice. Actually it's a little stressful.

So ... can anyone recommend other projects with comparatively small workunits and long deadlines?

I get the same error, and when trying to force upload of completed work units, I get this:

08-07-2020 09:42:22 | Asteroids@home | [error] Error reported by file upload server: can't open log file '../log_project1/file_upload_handler.log' (errno: 9)

Hi.

The server is currently out of disk space. This is not your fault, and the problem will solve itself as soon as they fix it on the server side.

This happens from time to time, and for now, all we can do is wait.
