Posted 4 Jan 2025 by keputnam Post: For any who are interested, I finally fingured this out Got a similar message for GPU on another project, so I did some more digging Under the ACTIVITY tab, "suspend GPU" had somehow gotten ticked Set "use GPU based on preferences" and GPU WUs now just show as "Ready to Start" |

Posted 26 Dec 2024 by keputnam Post: GPU suspended - user request This appeared recently in BOINC Manager for Asteroids I had changed my app_config file to allow more total concurrent to take advantage of the "project has no tasks available" on all my other projects. I'm pretty sure I didn't make any changes to the <gpu version> section Here is what it looks like now <app_config> <project_max_concurrent>8</project_max_concurrent> <app> <name>period_search</name> <gpu_versions> <gpu_usage>0.80</gpu_usage> <cpu_usage>0.5</cpu_usage> </gpu_versions> </app> /app_config> Both GPU types are enabled in the the location preferences at the project options page Can anyone help me get the mutiple GPU tasks running? TIA for any assistance |
