Greetings,
My name is Robert Maddox, I am from the United States, Washington State to be more exact. I am 67 years old, a doctoral candidate who retired from the United States military, and moving towards a second career doing data analysis as an international consultant. My hobbies are gene (bio) hacking, science, and science fiction but my feet are firmly planted on the ground as opposed to having my head in the clouds. I am not used to talking about myself so I hope my introduction is sufficient and somewhat enlightening. |

I am running Asteroids@home to increase/add to the body of knowledge of what we may need to know to protect our planet and species from an extra-planetary body collision that could lead to an extinction event. It is the purpose of a doctoral candidate to add significantly to the body of knowledge to be awarded their Ph.D. in a subject matter that they are familiar with and interested in; while my education has focused on business and healthcare administration, science has always underlaid my personal interests so this is a small but interesting addition to the body of knowledge of geological interplanetary interaction. :)
