 - Sean Penn recently finalized his divorce with estranged wife Leila George,
but he isn't happy about the split.
The actor, 61, opened up about his relationship with
George, and his continued charitable work in Ukraine, during an interview with [url=][/url] published
Saturday.
Penn was honest about their relationship issues going as far as saying he 'f----d up the marriage' because he was
'very neglectful.'

'There's a woman who I'm so in love with, Leila George, who I only see on a day-to-day basis now, because I f---ed up the marriage,' the Mystic River star said.
'We were married technically for one year, but for five years, I was a very neglectful guy.'

George is more than 30 years Penn's junior. She celebrated her 30th birthday on March
20 while the Fast Times at Ridgemont High star turns 62 in August.
Penn went on to say that he 'doesn't know' what the future will hold for him and George,
but he said he's worked on what he sees as the problems with
himself during their relationship.
'Now, when I wash the dishes, I don't answer my phone,' he explained.
'If I'm with my wife for a day, I don't have my phone on, even though I'm juggling a lot of things.
I don't juggle them better by taking more calls. I can have my phone off and not watch the news for 12 hours
now.

Familiar territory: Penn's split from George is the third time Penn has been through a divorce

They would separate about a year later, with George filing for divorce
this past October.
The acclaimed actor and director submitted a 'settlement package to the

It's unclear who received what in the split, but the couple did have an iron-clad prenuptial agreement
that laid out specifics of their finances if
they were to break-up.
His split from George is the third time Penn has been through
a divorce. He was previously married to Madonna
from 1985 to 1989 and to The Princess Bride star
Robin Wright from 1996 to 2010.
